I posted two sets of tires and three truck boxes on Craigslist. Let the games begin. I already have someone wanting me to confirm I’m a legit seller via google voice link thing...
My stock response to scammers :

How does this one work? I haven’t encountered it, but I have scant experience selling on CL.

I read through that and more. It seems liked a dumb scam in that all it does is get the scammer a Google Voice phone number, the scammer could get his own anyway. The only thing I see is that if it were an international scammer wanting a Voice number and needs a US number to get one. Still, there are so many ways of spoofing and such that it seems a stupid scam.

I think it allows them to spoof your number? I don’t get it either but I think i already have one set of tires sold!
